HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!
Although these last few months have been challenging in several ways, it has opened up opportunities for many individuals to volunteer some socially distanced time on the Farm.
ROSE feels so blessed to have such wonderful supporters and partners within the community.
We would like to give a shout out and a BIG THANK-YOU to some of our most recent volunteers & donators…..
Chris White has been very busy at Sunnivue!
*He has graciously participated in the task of maintaining the lawns - and freeing up lawn space around the garden
* He has planted Kale, Tomatoes,Peppers and Corn in the Garden ,His Christmas Tree Forest flourishing (A collaboration with Hutton House participants from prior years)
* Assisted with repairs in the Community House
*His Pump is watering the Garden!
Chris White has Maple Syrup for sale in the Farm Store!
Urban Roots made a generous donation of dozens of tomato plants!
Jeff Lucas donated Pumpkin Seeds that have been planted & are sprouting! We have over 60 pumpkin plants growing to support the Waldorf School Fundraiser for this Fall. Thank you for the many supporters that showed up in helping to plant and mulch the pumpkin patch!
Amara Hollow Bones has donated compost, peppers, kale & calendula plants for the garden patch!
Amara is an earth-based artist, ; textile artist, tattoo artist, herbalist and amateur botanist. She has some of her Artwork, Moon Calendars, and Homemade Candy available for purchase within the farm store as well!
Natalie White has provided Cafezia, an organic/ herbal coffee product, that is available as grounds or whole beans!
Sunnivue Farm also supports members of the community in their Organic Milk Production venture, by providing them with the land & barn. Jason O’Neil & Twan Peters have been hard at work!
